Huawei Customer’s Q&A
Payment Method
Huawei.com offers several payment methods for purchasing products or services. Customers can make payments using Bank cards, Mobile payment, HUAWEI Points, or third-party payment.
For in-app purchases, customers are taken to the HUAWEI In-App Purchases payment page after selecting to purchase an app. If the HUAWEI Wallet app is not installed, a prompt for its installation will appear.
The HUAWEI Wallet is a digital wallet that allows customers to add their bank cards, transportation cards, loyalty cards, coupons, access cards, and more. This makes it easier to carry around without the extra weight. With Huawei Pay, everything is in the palm of your hands, no need to handle cash or payment machines.
Huawei Pay is an easy and secure way to make payments with your HUAWEI device. Customers can add their bank cards to Huawei Pay to pay in stores with just a tap. Every transaction has to be authenticated by your fingerprint or passcode. Huawei Pay transactions receive the same fraud protection provided by your bank as when you use your bank card.
Huawei Pay uses a device-specific number known as a token instead of your bank card number to handle transactions. Your bank card number is not stored on your device or on Huawei Pay servers, and is not shared with merchants. When you pay with a debit or credit card, Huawei Pay doesn’t keep transaction information that can be tied back to you.
Customers can also use HUAWEI Pay or a third-party payment app to complete the payment. The platform supports most mainstream payment methods, including bank cards, carrier billing, HUAWEI Points, and other local payment methods.
